Dear Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery Community,

You are invited to participate in a research study entitled “2010 Electronic Document Delivery Options Study.”  The purpose of this research is to survey Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Document Delivery (DD) library operations across the country in order to ascertain what document delivery mechanisms are in place, how they are being used, and why.  We plan to enroll approximately 100 participants into this study. Participation in this survey should take about ten to twenty minutes.

Your participation in this study is completely voluntary and information gathered from you will be kept anonymous.  Findings from this study should elucidate the dynamics involved at individual sites and assist librarians in making decisions, based not only on their individual circumstances, but on the experience and trends found across a broad sampling of institutions.  You are not required to answer all the questions, but the more information you can supply, the more beneficial this will be to the ILL/DD community.  Your participation is appreciated!
